Amplify ELA is a blended English language arts curriculum designed specifically to support students in grades 6–8 and prepare them for high school and beyond. With Amplify ELA, students learn to tackle any complex text and make observations, grapple with interesting ideas, and find relevance for themselves. |
Amplify ELD follows a 6-Lesson Cycle whose structure is consistent across units.

High School Core ELA HMH Into Lit: HMH Into Literature is a 6-12 English language arts program that equips students with the reading, writing, and speaking skills required for success. |
High School Designated ELD HMH English 3D: English 3D® is an explicit and interactive English Language Development curriculum designed by Dr. Kate Kinsella. The only ELD program that has earned the WIDA Prime 2020 Seal of Alignment, English 3D enables multilingual learners in grades 4–12 to rapidly acquire the language skills necessary for academic success. |
Integrated ELD is provided throughout the school day, ELs are taught core academic subjects through the use of Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English (SDAIE) strategies which include:
- Analyze the textbook material from a LEP student viewpoint.
- Provide background experience and personalize the lesson.
- Identify and teach essential vocabulary.
- Present the lesson orally as much as possible.
- Use a variety of visuals and graphic organizers.
- Simplify grammatical structures, limit use of idioms; paraphrase complex sentences.
- Reinforce language learning while teaching content.
- Teach study skills and the use of textbook aids.
- Use manipulative materials, hands-on activities and graphic organizers.
- Monitor student’s progress continuously.
